'Thou shalt not' is soon forgotten, but 'Once upon a time' lasts forever.

About Video Production Techniques

Video Production Techniques are an essential part of any project where video is produced by teachers or students. Whereas most teachers and students have not had formal training in video production, they are all sophisticated consumers of video because of the thousands of hours of professional television, movie, and advertising videos they have watched. To avoid disappointing results from a video project, teachers and students need to learn some basics about cameras, lighting, audio, scripting, and editing. This page deals with the first three: camcorder, lighting, and audio.

-- Harold Goddard (The Meaning of Shakespeare)
